Published Date: 12 January 2006
Thursday, January 12: Police are asking for help in tracing two teenage girls who have gone missing in Hemel Hempstead in the past week.
Leanne Crouch, 14, has not been seen since she left her home in Bennetts End Road to go to Astley Cooper School last Thursday (January 5) and Danielle Lawrence, also 14, was last seen leaving her home in Grovehill to go to Adeyfield School on Monday
(January 9).

Despite the similarities police are not connecting the two disappearances.

Leanne is white, approximately 4ft 10in tall, of slim build, with shoulder length mousy brown hair, brown eyes, a pale complexion and wears three gold rings on her hands.

Danielle is white and approximately 5ft 2in tall, of stocky build, with very long mousy brown hair which she wears in a ponytail. She has blue eyes and speaks with a Welsh accent.

Anyone with any information on the girls is asked to contact the Western Area Missing Persons Unit on 01442 271152 Monday to Friday between 8am - 4pm.
