A day nursery celebrated a year of being in business by throwing a birthday bash for the tots they look after.
Mandy Driscoll, a 24-year-old qualified nursery nurse, set up Little Rascals with the help of her mum Carol and dad Michael.

A year on the business in Gadebridge, Hemel Hempstead, has gone from strength to strength and there's even talk of expanding.

The nursery started off with just three children on the books and now staff look after a total of 23.

The staff team has also expanded from three to seven workers.

Owner Carol Driscoll said: "We had a party with the children, a bouncy castle, a big cake and lots of games for them to play.

"The year seems to have whizzed by for us. It has gone really well and I only hope we are going to keep growing. I often joke about getting bigger premises!"

Little Rascals Day Nursery in Rossgate cares for youngsters aged between one and five. To find out more call 01442 416999.
