A man who was hospitalised after a police chase in Redbourn has been charged with a string of motoring offences.
Martin O'Sullivan, 42, of Kenton Park Close in Harrow, was charged with dangerous driving, failing to wear a seatbelt, failing to stop, failing to provide a specimen and not having insurance when he answered bail on
Tuesday, October 2.

He was cut free from a green BMW after the smash at around 3.30am on August 14.

The car was being pursued by police when it went straight over a roundabout near the High Street, collided with several road signs and came to a stop on the embankment.

Mr O'Sullivan was treated for serious neck injuries at the QE2 Hospital.

He has been police bailed to appear at St Albans Magistrates Court on October 21.
