Sax ace Vasilis at society’s first 2013 gig

Jazz fans will want to make sure of their tickets for the first Berkhamsted Jazz Society date of the new year, when the Nigel Price Organ Trio and fiery sax player Vasilis Xenopoulos combine their talents at Berkhamsted Civic Centre next Saturday, January 12.

The talented trio were winners of the 2010 Parliamentary Jazz Awards for best jazz ensemble and guitarist Nigel has played more than 150 times at Ronnie Scott’s Club, while Athens-born Vasilis has a reputation as a fiery hardbop player.
