Time to get in the spirit of it

Tickets are on sale for Tring’s answer to the proms.

The Spirit of Tring open air concert taking place at The Grass Roots Stadium in Cow Lane on June 2 and 3, will feature bands, fireworks and plenty of pomp.

Stars of the West End join together in a pop group called Cool Britannia, which will headline on Saturday, and The English National Orchestra will play on Sunday.

The not-for-profit event will raise cash for good causes in the area, such as schools, sports clubs and theatre.
