AN X-Factor finalist is the latest famous face to move into the town as he will be using it as a base to work on his solo career.

Bradley Johnson, who was a member of Nu Vibe, which X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos put together, has been signed to Ingeny Music based in Hemel Hempstead.

His manager Damian Knowles moved him into a property in the town two weeks ago to work on his single launch and tracks for his debut album.

The 17-year-old from St Helens has been settling into life in Hemel Hempstead and has already turned heads at venues including Bar Na Na and at The Snow Centre on Tuesday.

The teen , who has 35,000 Twitter followers, said: “I still find it weird when people recognise me.

“It’s pretty good here but I prefer the food up north.

“I can’t wait for my single, Boomerang, to come out on April 1.”

I'm underwhelmed with the emotion of it all. Actually I've just sussed it. Look at the date his first single is due to come out.......it's obviously all just a big wind up. Anyway, surely our KFC and McDonalds are just as good as any of the KFCs and McDonalds up norf?

Prefer the food up north? Deep fried mars bars and chips with everything, just buy yourself a deep fat fryer and toss everything into it you'll feel right at home mate.
