Get ready to rock the night away for charity with The Bumnotes and Elton Tom and The Rock Men this Saturday at the Court Theatre in Tring.

The Bumnotes formed in 1984 and have been providing live music for local organisations such as PTAs, Round Tables and Rotary Clubs, as well as private functions for the last 28 years.

The eight band members who are mainly former Round Table and Ladies Circle perform rock and roll favourites from the ’50s and ’60s.

Their fees go entirely to charity and to date nearly £50,000 has been collected and distributed to local organisations or to those charities with specific relevance to band members.

Elton Tom, aka Tom Devonshire, is now joined by The Rocket Men who are Alan Morrow, Danny Prendergast and Dave Reece – all local musicians from Aylesbury, Pitstone and Tring and together they create a first class Elton John tribute band.

A Charity Rock Night with The Bumnotes supported by Elton Tom and The Rock Men will take place at the Court Theatre in Tring on Saturday, October 6 at 7.30pm.

Tickets, which cost £15, will include a fish and chip supper.

Proceeds will be shared between the MS Centre, Halton and the Evelina Children’s Heart Organisation at St Thomas’s Hospital.

Call the box office on 07543 560478 for tickets or book online at www.courttheatre.co.uk.

Alternatively pop into Beechwood Fine Foods, 42 Frogmore Street, Tring, HP23 5AU and pick some up in person.
