Lily James became the third former pupil of Tring’s prestigious performing arts school to appear in hit period drama Downton Abbey when she made her debut on the show last night (Sunday).
The 23-year-old actress, who went to Tring Park when she was 13 and studied her A Levels before going on to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, plays seductress Lady Rose.
She is the third ex-student to be cast in the popular series and follows Amy Nuttall, who plays Ethel, and Jessica Brown Findlay, who played Lady Sybil.
