Three charged with robbery

Three men have been charged in connection with a spate of robberies in Kings Langley.
Steven Roberts, 23, of Abbots View, Kings Langley and Jamie Owen, 20, of Croft End Road, Chipperfield have been charged with three offences of robbery.

The incidents are alleged to have happened at the Texaco petrol station in Primrose Hill, on Wednesday, June 4, the SPAR shop in High Street on Wednesday, June 11 and Ladbrokes also in High Street on Tuesday, June 17.

The pair have been remanded in custody and will appear at St Albans Crown Court on Monday, July 28.

Simon Barr, 21, of Croft End Road in Chipperfield has been charged with one offence of robbery at Ladbrokes. He has been released on bail to appear at St Albans Crown Court on the same date.
