Students in Kings Langley are leading the way on being environmentally friendly with a new internet -based magazine.

The Schoolzine provides news and features in an email format and will eventually replace the traditional monthly newsletter sent to parents at Kings Langley School.

Headteacher Gary Lewis said the Schoolzine would be a source of news and information about the school and a forum for the students to express themselves.

He added: "We hope it will help us to further lessen our environmental impact by reducing the amount of paper we generate."

Local residents, parents, students and past pupils are all welcome to subscribe, free of charge, by going to www.kingslangley.schoolzines.com/ subscribe
