I am running this years London Marathon

Watching the London Marathon runners last year inspired me to take part myself (crazy I know.....)

This is a major event for me, those of you who know me well understand that I HATE any kind of exercise especially walking and running. I will be running just over 26 miles on 13th April 2008

I am not only running for myself but also for the Mental Health Foundation as I feel the charity needs alot more support to raise awareness for mental illness.

For those of you who don't know the Mental Health Foundation exists to help people survive, recover from and prevent mental health problems. They bring together teams that undertake research, develop services, design training, influence policy and raise public awareness within one organisation.

This is a really great charity so please sponsor me if you can

I am running in this year's London Marathon for the first time and I am looking for sponsors for my chosen charity which is The British Heart Foundation.

There are several personal reasons for my choosing this charity. My dad died of a sudden heart attack just months before my wedding back in 1982.

Several years ago my father in law had a triple by-pass and my sister in law, who is in her forties, is now having heart problems. So it is for them and all the people who are suffering from heart problems now and in the future that I am running this marathon for.

I have completed over 250 miles in training so far and have over 200 miles still to go! Any promises of sponsorship towards a charity close to my heart!! would be appreciated and would certainly help to give me the encouragement to continue my training and complete the marathon on April 13th!

I am running in the London Marathon this year and the money I raise will go to WellChild. They are a charity that support sick children and families throughout the U.K and WellChild nurses give care to chronically sick children in their own homes. My wife and I have been blessed with three beautiful children, Emily aged 9 and Twins Freya and Toby aged 8 months, we thank our lucky stars daily but we know, sadly, other families are not as fortunate.
I ran my first marathon last year aged 39 and 'caught the running bug' I am priveledged to be running again this year and would really appreciate as many sponsors as possible for this worthy cause.

I am running the London Marathon in April 2008. I am raising sponsorship for a charity called MacIntyre Housing Association, who develop high quality housing for people with learning disabilities. I am running for this charity because as a teacher of children with special educational needs, I think it is very important that people with special needs have the opportunity of living in the community, and, given some support, gaining a degree of independence.
I have a fundraising page at www.justgiving.com/nicolabradbury1 and would welcome any contributions.

I am running the london marathon this year raising money for the British Heart Foundation. My mother passed away coming up to 3 years ago due to heart problems and I wanted to do something in her memory. I only took up running last year, and hadn't done any sort of exercise previously since leaving school. I completed the marathon last year and have got the running bug, entering several different races throughout the year. I am trying to get as much sponsorship as possible for this worthy cause, so if anyone is able to sponsor me I would be very grateful. I have set up a web page www.justgiving.com/markforsdike
