The BBC's Timewatch is making a special programme about the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II and is looking for people to share their memories of the event.

Regarded as the biggest and most sumptuous Royal event ever seen in Britain it seemed a moment when the monarchy, country and commonwealth were all united in celebration.

Millions took part in street parties up and down the country and around three million travelled to London.

Perhaps you were one of these people? Or maybe you were working behind the scenes at the nationwide celebrations?

If so the BBC would like to hear from you in order to bring the day to life.

To contact the Timewatch Coronation Day Team phone 020 8752 5350, email coronation@bbc.co.uk or write to BBC Timewatch - Coronation, Room 3170, BBC White City, London W12 7TS or visit the website at www.bbc.co.uk/timewatch
