Going green
MISSION SEVEN: Final installment
Over the last year I have tried out a number of different eco-cleaning products in my quest to eradicate synthetic chemicals from my home.
MISSION SIX: Ditching detergent
Nobody would ever use a detergent bottle as a drinks container, yet until recently I have always been happy to squirt every last inch of my kitchen with the stuff and to allow my food, kitchen utensils and skin to come into contact with the residue.
MISSION FIVE: Eco-washing
This month I have been experimenting with environmentally friendly ways to wash clothes. Mind you, still using the washing machine!
MISSION FOUR: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
The Green Column has given my friend Lorna and I plenty to chat about over our Sunday morning coffee.
