Chesham Musical Theatre Company will stage gangster classic, Guys & Dolls at the Elgiva Theatre, in Chesham from April 21 to 25 at 7.45pm and 2.30pm on Saturday.

First performed in New York in 1950 and subsequently made into a film in 1955 starring Marlon Brando, Frank Sinatra and Jean Simmons, Guys & Dolls is a much-loved piece of theatre.

Louise Saunders plays naïve Salvation Army sergeant, Sarah Brown while George Riddell is top gambler Sky Masterson.

Jason Middleton plays Nathan Detroit who is organising 'floating crap games' to avoid the attention of the police is also doing everything he can to prevent turning his 14-year engagement into marriage.

His finance, nightclub hostess Miss Adelaide, is being played by Christine Ellis.
