What they do:
Relate Dacorum is a confidential counselling service offering individual and couple counselling, family mediation, sex therapy and life skills to people in Dacorum.

Who it helps:
Families, couples
and individuals, whether married, single, of the same sex, divorced or separated, from anywhere in the borough.

Relate helps people improve their relationships and deal with a range of issues, such as preparing for change like marriage or moving in together, a new job, new home, a baby, retirement or redundancy.

Facts:
  • Relate is a National Organisation made up of some 80 Relate Centres across the United Kingdom.

  • Dacorum's branch was formed in 1963.

  • Phonelines are open 9am to 9.30pm Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4pm on Friday and 9.30am to 12pm on Saturdays.

  • Relate Dacorum offers a range of training events that include courses on dealing with divorce, teenage behaviour or increasing confidence.

    How you can help:
    One-off or regular cash donations are very welcome.

    Any volunteers who can commit to three hours of evening reception work each week would also be welcomed. Training is provided.
