- Druglink was set up in 1984 to meet the new need for support services to individuals, family members and the wider community affected by substance misuse.
- The charity is receiving national recognition for an educational scheme it offers to tackle binge drinking.
- People who are charged for drink related criminal behaviour, such as being drunk and disorderly, can half their police fine by attending a three-hour workshop with Druglink.
- Druglink provides successful drug and alcohol awareness programmes to primary and secondary schools in Dacorum and offers advice to employers on how to help workers affected by drugs or alcohol misuse.
- Druglink offers a residential rehabilitation programme at Nascent House where people affected by drugs or alcohol can live for six months and receive counselling, support, advice and help into employment.
