What they do: Chinese language classes, Tai Chi classes, Chinese culture workshops, Chinese cooking classes and Chinese cultural events.
Who it helps: The aim of the school is to provide teaching of the Chinese official language, Mandarin, for the benefit of both the Chinese and the wider community of Dacorum.
Facts: The school has students, aged from five to adult, ranging from pre-school, year one standard, to GCSE, AS and A2, and adult Mandarin classes for anyone interested in listening to and speaking Chinese.
The school has now received a Quality in Study Support (QiSS) award for its efforts, part of an initiative by the Department for Children, Schools and Families.
