What they do: The club organises guest speakers, events, entertainment and days out.
Who it helps: The club is open to all blind and partially-sighted people in Dacorum.
Facts:
- Registered blind Berkhamsted resident Doris Cutler set up the club in 2005 because there was a gap for such a group in the area.
- The club, which meets on the first Monday of every month, began with just 12 members and now boasts 30.
How you can help: 1066 would love to hear from anyone interested in joining the club and could potentially run a minibus service from parts of Dacorum where there are a number of members.
Financial donations and offers of volunteer work are always welcome.
