Skate class kids will learn from Olympic dementor!

editorial image

A woman who performed on roller skates for the Olympic opening ceremonies has teamed up with a former pop star to offer youngster skate lessons.

Amanda Constantinou (pictured left), from Berkhamsted, was one of the Harry Potter-style dementors and had to teach the other dancers how to skate as well as join them on stage to entertain about a billion viewers.

Inspired by her experience, Amanda, who has also performed in the West End’s Starlight Express, is offering skate classes through Allstars Academy, which she runs with former Scooch band member Natalie Powers.

The classes for youngsters at Felden Lodge will include basic skills and then will progress into learning choreographed sequences. Visit www.allstarsacademy.biz/
