Search is on for outstanding families
A search has been launched to find the country’s most outstanding families and reward them with a-money- can’t-buy experience.
Families who have done something amazing to help others, have made a real difference in their communities or been champion fund-raisers should be put forward for the awards.
There are five family categories and the winners from each section will be treated to an exclusive awards day at ZSL London Zoo, goody bags worth £500 and many other money can’t buy experiences.
Among the high profile celebrity judges who will decide which families are worthy of the five-star treatment, are: Kym Marsh, Mel C, Patsy Palmer, Jo Joyner and Sally Dynevor, other wise known as Sally Webster in Coronation Street.
The awards ceremony will be held at London Zoo on May 28, where the celebrity panel will announce the overall winner of Outstanding Family of the Year 2012 from the five winning families.
Gaining the prestigious title is not the only accolade; the crowned winners will also receive a fabulous family holiday in a four-star hotel in Northern Cyprus.
This will be the fourth year that the popular women’s glossy magazine Candis has held its search for Britain’s most outstanding families.
Editor Debbie Attewell said: “This award champions the amazing achievements of families in the UK and how they are helping to make a difference. Families come in all shapes, sizes and types and Candis wants to hear from them all – especially families from the Midlands – they all have an opportunity to win the Outstanding Family of the Year award.”
