Make a difference by becoming a Community Champion

PEOPLE living in Adeyfield, Hemel Hempstead, are being encourage to get involved in their community by becoming Street Champions

The scheme, run by Dacorum Borough Council, aims to give householders more control and more opportunities to improve their local area.

Volunteers may be involved in litter picks, flower planting, community events and letting council chiefs know about problems in their area.

There is no minimum amount of time that helpers must dedicate and the council will provide support and equipment.

Those interested can find out more during an information session being held on Saturday from midday to 1.30pm at Adeyfield Community Centre, Queens Square.
