Council snow disruption update
Dacorum Borough Council has issued the following advice to residents this morning (Monday).
Refuse and recycling
Refuse and recycling crews are out today and will try to empty as many green wheeled and recycling boxes as possible in the snow and ice. If they do not get to you, please leave your bins out and they will be collected throughout the week.
Environmental health
Pest control, drainage, cesspool and dog warden services are all attempting to continue as normal, but where access is difficult customers will be informed. We are also attempting to collect clinical waste. Any pre-arranged visits will be notified if an officer cannot attend.
All other environmental health services are currently operating as normal.
Housing
MITIE, the council’s emergency repairs partner, is reporting some delays but is also attempting to continue as normal where possible.
