Provides a support network, advice and information, as well outings and guest speakers to people throughout Dacorum.
Who it helps:
People living with lung conditions, such as cancer, emphysema, asthma or bronchiectasis.
Facts:
The charity was established five years ago and has around 100 members.
It is affiliated with the British Lung Foundation.
A respiratory nurse from Hemel Hempstead Hospital attends each of the group's monthly meetings to allow members to seek advice without having to make an appointment with a specialist.
How you can help:
Able-bodied volunteers are sought to help lay out tables and chairs for meetings and cash donations to support the charity are always welcome.
