Provides information and advice, coffee mornings and social activities, quarterly newsletter and a carers support group.

The society provides information and support to those suffering from dementia and their carers.

Facts:

The branch supports the national society's annual Memory Walk, staging a short fundraising walk in Boxmoor during September.

Dementia affects one in 20 people over the age of 65, and one in five over the age of 80.

There are also 18,500 people in the UK under the age of 65 with dementia.
