Dumped pup Shadow is hoping for a fresh start
Shadow needs a new home.
SHADOW was one of a number of puppies that were abandoned over the Christmas holidays.
He is only around five months old but despite his poor start to life is doing well in the care of the Chilterns Dog Rescue Society.
Shadow’s new owner will need to provide plenty of attention and exercise and be able to commit to dog training classes. Contact the rescue centre on 01296 623885 or visit www.cdrs.org.uk
> Teddy and Tilly are a loving and gentle pair of cats.
Both estimated to be aged between eight and 10, they were handed in to Cats Protection after their owner died. Now they are looking for a fresh start together.

Friday, January 20, 2012 at 03:41 PMChilterns Dog Rescue Society makes it to hard to help a puppy.I had 2 healthy dogs already and was looking on a rescue dog to help, which was the same breed as my other 2. They never called back after filling in their sheet and making a donation. In the end i purchased another puppy from a breeder instead. Now i have 3 healthy dogs youngest 2yrs old. I wish rescue centres would not vet people so hard as its better to give them a chance instead of putting them down.
