Can you complete endurance cycle challenge for charity?

Entries are open for a charity’s third annual cycle challenge.

You can try either a 10km, 35-mile or 75-mile route during the event by Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care (IRGH) on Sunday, March 24.

Hospice spokesman Kathryn Pezet said: “It’s our third year of doing it and it’s very popular.

“We are finding that people are coming back time after time to do it, because they enjoy it. It’s also at the start of spring – just as most people are starting to get back out and about.

“We had brilliant weather for it last year – and hopefully this year’s will be just as good.”

The event, which begins and ends in Aylesbury, will be kicked off this year by daytime TV celebrity and recent Strictly Come Dancing contestant Fern Britton.

The event will raise funds for Tring-based IRGH, which provides nurses to care for the terminally ill in their own homes. It costs £6.5m a year to fund the charity, which covers Herts and Bucks.
