Westwick Women's Institute April 16
This month the members had a marvellous outing to the British Library and then went on to see the newly refurbished St Pancras station with several new statues.
Our speaker this month was Colin Street, a guide at the Globe Theatre.
He gave a wonderful description of the old and new theatres accompanied by many interesting slides.
The meeting finished with a talk by one of our members Mrs Bette Parker on her life as a Vernon Girl with lovely pictures and nice stories
of the many stars she worked with who had become household names.
