Tudor Squares, the local square dance club, recently graduated 20 new dancers.

They had been taught the basic moves of square dancing by Eric Curtis and to celebrate their success and welcome them as full members of the club, a graduation party was held for them.

Some 50 members of Tudor Squares attended the party for which Eric, Susie Kelly and Irene Dimmer called.

The photograph above, shows the new graduates with Eric and the club's chairman, Maureen Flint.

They have now joined the mainstream club on Thursday evenings where they will consolidate their dancing as they dance to the calling of Irene.

Eric will be teaching a new beginners class starting in September.

Anyone interested in joining this, should ring Irene on 01442 213059.
