Our meeting in May was part fun, part serious.

We discussed the two resolutions to go forward to the national AGM at Liverpool in June, one on the bottom trawling of oceans which destroys all in its path, and the other on the wrongful imprisonment of the mentally ill. Both were carried with overwhelming majorities.

Then on to the fun quiz on advertising slogans, and a look at the members' craft show - we have some amazingly talented people.

A delicious tea rounded off the afternoon.

Next month, we have an important meeting, when we shall hear about the Herts and Essex Air Ambulance Service.

This is on Wednesday, June 11, 2.15pm in the Sarratt Village Hall, all welcome, and we shall be raising funds for this essential service at our coffee morning on Wednesday, June 18 at Sarratt House, The Green.

Please do come along. For more information telephone Margaret on 350938.
