Emma Hart, of Chaulden, Hemel Hempstead, will trek across Iceland next July in aid of the Haemophilia Society, which supports her sufferer sons Samuel, seven, and Oliver, four.
She has already raised more than £3,000 through fun days and men’s waxing events.
The mum now plans to hold a teddy tombola stall at the Chaulden School Christmas fair next Friday, November 29, as well two children’s Christmas parties on the Saturday, December 7 at Chaulden’s Tudor Rose pub.
Tickets, available from the pub, cost £6.50 each and include food, music, games, a picture with Santa and a present.
Time slots for the parties are 12.30pm to 2.30pm and 3.30pm to 5.30pm.
Emma said: “I have seen how haemophilia affects people’s lives and it is so important to raise awareness.
“To be able to see so many children happy and having fun while raising money for a good cause gives me a great sense of pride.”
Emma is also seeking companies to donate some presents for the event – email firstname.lastname@example.org if you can help or visit justgiving.com/emmahart10 to donate.
