Sporting stars teed-off to help raise money for Age Concern.
Retired snooker player Willie Thorne was amongst the celebrities at Berkhamsted Golf Club at the end of last month.

He was joined by rugby player Robert Henderson, former Watford footballer Luther Blissett and actor Tim Brooke-Taylor.

They teamed up with amateur golfers as part of Age Concern's annual golf tournament which raised more than £12,000 for disadvantaged older people.

Fiona Jerman, events manager at Age Concern and Help the Aged,
said: "This year's tournament was a fantastic day out on one of the best golf courses in the UK. We'd like to thank all the participants who helped to make the event a huge success, raising vital funds which will make a real difference to the lives of older people."
