Residents of a Berkhamsted road want an electronic speed warning sign installed to slow traffic.

The residents in Gravel Path say many drivers break the 30mph limit at the top of their street.

And to help slow the vehicles down, the homeowners want an electronic sign installed to flash a warning when motorists pass at speeds above the legal limit.

At a town council meeting on Monday councillors heard that the sign would cost between £2,000 and £3,100.

The council agreed to set up a 'working group' to look into the idea.
