Pepper hits all the right notes

Audiences were wowed by the Pepper Foundation's 20th anniversary show which is predicted to have raised £40,000 for charity.
For the past two decades Berkhamsted's biggest musical event has entertained residents throughout Dacorum and this year was no different.
From Abba and Bon Jovi to Elton John and Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, budding stars sang a collection of songs from the previous 19 shows in perfect harmony to mostly sell-out shows from July 12 to 19.
Huge television screens were mounted either side of the theatre at the Centenary Hall, Berkhamsted Collegiate School, which complemented the immaculate and professional lighting.
Pepper Founder, Robert Breakwell, said: "We've had a great time working on the 20th Sgt Pepper show and I'm glad the sell out audiences enjoyed our recreation of some of the musical highlights from the last two decades.
"The cast and crew have all worked really hard and it's been a pleasure to work with such a talented and committed bunch of people. For me as one of Pepper's founders, our 20th show was very nostalgic and special."
The concept for the show was thought up by Robert's wife Karen Breakwell, who wanted to create a charity event based on the first anniversary of The Beatles legendary album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Sadly, after battling cancer she died at the age of 30 before the show became a reality.
However, in her memory Robert and a group of friends decided the show must go on and exactly one year after her death the first Pepper show was performed.
Money raised at each year's event, which is run entirely by volunteers, pays for vital nursing care for terminally and seriously ill children in the community.
