A pastor who dedicated 13 years to the community has announced he is leaving.
During Billy Milton's time with Kings Road Church, in Berkhamsted, he was instrumental in helping buy a building across the road for community work and he employed youth and children`s workers.

Pastor Milton said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this wonderful church, and it is with mixed feelings and a deep sense of thankfulness to them, and to God, that I now leave to pursue this new chapter in my life".

He leaves with the blessing of the congregation who have a short wait until the new Pastor, Ray Toms, starts in October.

Ron White, who is part of the leadership team at the church, said: "The church will greatly miss Billy, and while we very much hope that he will be able to visit us, the time has come for us to look forward to Ray Toms arrival".

Pastor Milton, who has a BA in Theology, used to be an accountant and leaves to take up a position training executives in leadership, communication skills and public speaking.
