Inquest of man, 84, found shot opened

An inquest has been opened into the death of an 84-year-old man who was found shot.
Police discovered Cecil Cutler, of Main Road South, Dagnall, with a gun shot wound in his home on Sunday, July 13.

The death is not being treated as suspicious by police.

Following a postmortem an inquest was opened and adjourned last Tuesday.
A date for the coroner's hearing is yet to be set.
