A writer from Berkhamsted has made it into the top 20 of the UK book charts.
The Accidental Wife featured at number 12 of the BookTrack chart, which collates sales from the big supermarkets, when it was released at the end of last month.

Now at number 20, much to the author Rowan Coleman's delight, it is still selling well.

"You never know how a book will be received so it's really nerve-wracking, but I'm so pleased it has done so well," she said.
The mother-of-one, of Bridgewater Road, has written eleven adult and children's books in the past seven years.

Rowan began her career as a full-time author after winning Young Writer of the Year in Company magazine's 2001 short story competition.

As well as her full-time job as a writer she runs creative writing classes at Re:Create in the Town Hall on Monday evenings where she mentors budding writers.

In the pipeline she has a further two books that are due to be released towards the end of this year and early 2009.

For more information about Rowan's writing classes and other courses at Re:Create visit www.recreateberko.co.uk.
