BOXMOOR Cricket Club celebrates its 150th anniversary next year and wants to hear from as many old players and others who have been associated with it.

A match at Boxmoor CC circa 1904 |
IT was in 1857 that the Boxmoor Trust allowed a piece of their land to be used as a cricket pitch which became known as the 'Boxmoor Oval' and Boxmoor Cricket Club was born.
A pavilion of sorts was first permitted near the site of the old Star Cottages in the mid 1930s
A new proper pavilion was built in the early 1960s, but this was destroyed by fire and a new pavilion was built in the 1980s with further extensions built in the 1990s.
The Club 1st Xl now plays in Herts League Division 6
The club want to hear from all former members and want to find as many old photos, records etc as possible. If you can help, please just click on the links below or above and tell us. We will pass all information on to the club
