A POPULAR motorsport attraction in the 1960s was the Westbrook Hay hill climb. Comedian Norman Wisdom was among the stars who came to watch. This picture is from 1962. Westbrook hay is now owned by the Boxmoor Trust. Picture JC JC 39

THE early 60s were a time of great development in Marlowes. But 40 years on much of it has been re-developed. Picture JC 48

THE new stand is unveiled at Hemel Hempstead United's Vauxhall Road ground. All ready for the 62/63 season. Hemel Hempstead Town FC had their home at Crabtree Lane in those days before the two clubs merged. Picture JC 49
