Highfield School

Highfield School opened in 1963, but just over 20 years later it was closed

It was 'amalgamated' into Grovehill School and the news school was called Astley Cooper.

The Highfield School off Fletcher Way site was redeveloped for housing.


Mr John Cotton was the long-serving headmaster
