Carnival from the 60s- the Old Town float

 

Really a continuation from the old town carnivals to raise money for the hospital

In the new town era, especially the 60s and 70s, the carnival was a major attraction with the floats starting from Boxmoor, wending their way right along Marlowes to Gadebridge Park.
