I would love to get in touch again with some of my school pals from Nash Mills School. I was there from 1940 - 1948, which included a time at the Apsley School with Miss Snoxall. I then moved on to Crabtree and waas there until 1951.
I was great pals with Anne Williams, Jennifer Luck, Wendy Stacey, Margaret Whitehouse, Joan Cornish. Gloria Smith,Diana Reynolds (from the shop in Gt,Elms Road). Also some of the boys from the infants school were Tony Frost, Terry Carr, Peter Rogers(or Rodgers) Derek Puddifoot, Roger Dickinson. The 11th of july 2006 I met a couple(round 50 years old) in a motorhome at a halting-place in the north of Sweden. I understood they were living in Aylesbury.
We discussed places worth to visit. I suggested among other a visit to
"Storforsen" wich is the largest waterfall in Europe.

They had started their journey in the beginning of may 2006 by going to France where they left their 14 years old dog. After that they drive to Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, from the south to the north of Norway, north of Finland and Sweden. The 11th of july they had desired to go to Sorsele. Up to then they had driven 8000 km totally.

In 1951 to 53 I was in Malta (Navy) and became very friendly with Shiela Rodgers (or Rogers). Her husband Peter was serving on HM Submarine Trenchant attached to HMS Forth. They had a 2 year old daughter Linda. We spent a lot of time togelther. We flew back to the U.K. together as the ships were returning for the Spithead Review for the coronation. I had a pen pal from England when I was in 5th grade. My pen pal and her school class wrote to a school newspaper or newsletter in England called the Children's Realm, which had a section called Auntie Pat that apparently requested kids to write for pen pals in the United States . I am trying to make contact with Neil and Kay Beardsworth. Both in their 30s Neil used to play trombone for a Hemel Hempstead band at least in the 90s, and is a teacher - at Chesham Park in Chesham in the mid 90s - Geography and then later music and Drama at another school not in Chesham. At one stage he also did some special policing. in the American Airforce and when he retired we came from the USA to live in
Hemel where my mothers father lived. I lived In Feacey Down, Gadebridge
Road and across the street from Rossgate shopping Center on Fennycroft Rd.
I would love to contact school friends. I have such good memories of my
teenage years, Gadebridge Youth Club Dances, Decoram College Dances and

We moved from Hemel Hempstead 35 years ago, and as we will be celebrating our Ruby Wedding Anniversary in March 2005, we are trying to trace two of our Bridesmaids. We are looking for Mrs. Pauline Phillips nee Holland from Warners End and Mrs. Theresa Chafer nee McCarthy from Adeyfield.
Unfortunately we had a Labrador Puppy 30 years ago, who ate our address book, and we lost touch with a lot of friends at that time.
