Elsewhere, the ladies’ 3s beat Saffron Waldon 1-0, while the 4s triumphed 2-1 over Leighton Buzzard.

The first team squandered a number of chances in their draw against Rickmansworth, coming away feeling that they had missed out on a good chance to pick up the three points.

In the men’s section, the firsts registered their sixth draw of the season, while the 4s also managed a 1-1 draw against third in the table Royston.

The men’s 2s and 3s had very narrow defeats, however the men’s 5s had a weekend to forget against a very strengthened Southgate side as they were trounced 13-0 in Division Nine.
