A car and van were involved in a collision on the A41 northbound this morning (Friday, September 25).

Police were called at 8.39am after the incident involving a Kia Sportage and a van just after the Hemel Hempstead junction, travelling towards Berkhamsted.

A Herts Police spokesman said: “It was logged as damage only and there were no injuries.

“The inside lane was blocked and we currently have a rolling road block in place.”

It is believed there is still some congestion on the bypass while the vehicles wait to be recovered.
