Coronavirus latest: Dacorum records 191 new cases today

Dacorum has recorded 191 new positive Covid-19 cases today (January 4).
The total for the borough is now 4,860, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

Hide AdThe incidence rate over the last 7 days is 659.1 per 100,000 population (the period represented is the 7 days ending December 31).
There have been 1,679 new cases in Hertfordshire, the total is now 44,492.
According to Public Health England there were 285 confirmed COVID-19 patients in West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust on Wednesday, December 30, and 18 were on mechanical ventilation beds.
There have been no new deaths recorded in Dacorum, the total is 140, and there have been six new deaths in Hertfordshire, the total is now 1,201 - according to Public Health England.

Hide AdNationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 58,784 and now stands at 2,713,563.
The number of deaths has risen by 407 to 75,431.
The figures for the number of patients recovered from Covid-19 have not been released by Public Health England.
The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Saturday, January 2, and 5pm on Sunday, January 3.
